I do not have a sweet tooth, so I enjoy gooseberries in particular! These are amazing specimens. I have never seent hem this colour, although I am sure somebody will have!

I had no idea of what a gooseberry looked like -- they really are quite beautiful...
This is so funny; I was just reading Jane Eyre yesterday and she was "picking gooseberries" and I wondered what they looked like. These look like almost like elderberries.
There´s two kind of gooseberries, white (they are actually light green) and these red ones. Thank´s for comments, I`ll visit Your ABC´s little later...

I felt so nostalgic when I saw your photo of Gooseberries. I used to love those in my Grandfather's garden, after they'd turned red. Yum! But that was England and this is Australia.
I loved Finland when I visited it.
Greetings Mari! Your gooseberry photo is as lovely as a painting. The color contrast (the purple/red against the green) is gorgeous. I really like this composition.
I've been sitting out ABC Wednesdays lately...can't keep up! Maybe next week.
