Tässä viimeinen, oma suosikkini tämän kertaisista puuotoksista. Miksi? Ehkäpä siksi, että tätä varten kävelin jälat vapisten jäätä pitkin melko kauas rannasta - tietämättä tarkalleen jään kestävyyttä :-D ... Ja koska rakastan kurkkia asioita pienistä raoista...

This is the last one of these tree pics, my personal favorite. Why? Perhaps because I walked with tremulous feet along the ice quite far from the island - without knowing exactly how strong the ice is :-D ...And because I love to peep different things...

Konttien käytön tavarankuljetukseen keksi Malcolm McLean 1914–2001) 1930-luvulla. Käyttöön kontin otti ensimmäisenä McLeanin varustamo Pan-Atlantic, joka myöhemmin toimi nimellä Sea-Land. Ensimmäinen konttikuljetus tapahtui McLeanin toimesta Pohjois-Carolinassa 26. huhtikuuta 1956.

The use of containers carrying goods invented by Malcolm McLean (1914-2001) in the 1930s. The use of containers, shipping McLean was the first Pan-Atlantic, which later operated under the name Sea-Land. The first took place in container transport by McLean, North Carolina 26 April 1956.
